Hi Narelle,

I began blogging last year with my students using http://21publish.com . It worked well and I liked the features, but unfortunately our security software really slowed down the site (our internal tech problem, not theirs). Our school district programmer has now created a forum for us on our school website so I no longer use 21publish. It will accommodate 100 student accounts for free so it's a great place to start.

Hope that helps!

Hello,
I am an Education uni student out on prac and as an ICT assignment I wish to introduce blogging into a year2 classroom or library setting. The school does not blog at all, so this is very exciting. I am having trouble learning about it myself. Can I set up a classroom site so the kids can read posts and send posts/reply to each other with out outside intervention. How is this done and is it free? My email is narelle.carlsen@hotmail.com I live in Perth Western Australia. Please HELP!

thankyou...Narelle Carlsen.
